The Dark Moon's newest warrior did not arrive by choice. Luna was once a warlord, the Scourge of the Plains, who led armies of men and beasts until her fortunes collapsed and she found herself starving at the edge of an ancient forest, driven mad by hunger and loss. It was there that a shadowy beast lured her deeper into the woods, always just out of reach, until she stood in a moonlit clearing ready to die. Instead, hooded figures revealed that Selemene, Goddess of the Moon, had watched her and tested her, and that she had unknowingly passed the sacred rites of the Nightsilver Woods. They offered her a place among the Dark Moon's guardians. She accepted without hesitation, renouncing her bloody past and taking up the role of Luna, the Moon Rider, who now serves the goddess with the same ruthlessness she once used to terrorize the plains.
