The Ecclesiast-King of Elze had a forbidden craving for pain, and as a monarch, he couldn't indulge it publicly. So he turned to his demonologists, promising freedom to any who could summon a succubus bound to his service. Akasha arrived, and her torments were so exquisite he made her his Secret Queen, shirking all duties for her 'attentions.' She could bring him to death's edge but was bound to keep him alive. Eventually, his neglect sparked a revolt; he was thrown from the Tower of Invocations, and at his death, Akasha was freed from servitude. Now she roams, eager to share her 'gifts' with anyone who catches her eye.
