Lore

Rhasta got his start as a starving little troll kid in the Bleeding Hills, picked up by a con-man who sold fake fortunes, pig castrations, and curses. The kid was part hill troll, part something else, and he lent an exotic air to the racket. They always stayed a step ahead of the angry customers, until the con-man realized the kid actually had real magic. So they switched roles: Rhasta became the 'Shadow Shaman' and the act got even better. But the past caught up, and a mob of swindled clients ambushed them. The con-man died, and Rhasta, for the first time, used his powers to massacre the attackers. He buried his master and now uses his magic to destroy anyone who threatens him.
