Lanaya was always a curious sort, prying into grimoires and alchemical texts, re-creating experiments from scraps of the Violet Archives, and jotting down the observations of the Keen folk. Her quiet, secretive nature made her good at sneaking around, and if she hadn't been so dedicated to study, she might have been known as a notorious thief-scholar. But her quest for understanding led her down a stranger road. She uncovered a door that exists in the very fabric of nature, a portal to the most Hidden Temple, and the entities beyond that threshold were waiting for her. They offered her answers in exchange for service, and she took the deal. Now she protects the mysteries of the universe, and every foe she destroys brings her a step closer to the truth she craves. In the eyes of each victim, she sees a little more of the cosmic puzzle fall into place.
